Bill Moyers is signing off from his long celebrated and commended PBS television documentary ‘Now with Bill Moyers.’ I have not been, what many people say an ‘ardent follower’ but whenever I watched his show, I felt that he touched my life and millions other watching with me at the same time or people who were involved by news story. His hardhitting criticism against giant corporations trying to gulp down abundant wealth of nature or a government who is trying to control people’s life by controlling information, perpetuated the truth in broad daylight.

He said recently, “"When you marry the power of the state with the power of business, you are creating a spectacle of corruption that will create a heyday for muckrakers, as long as there are enough of them left."

In an age where money, information and power walk hand in hand, mayhem is conspicuous and us the plebeians are left discombobulated, people who bring out the truth will be venerated.

So long Mr. Moyers, you will be missed on Friday evenings.
